We at Lutheran Church of the Resurrection believe that every person who visits our church was sent by God, and we would love to get to know you and to share with you the ways God is working in our congregation.

Worship Schedule:

Bible classes Sunday mornings for all ages begin at 9:30 a.m. and our Worship Service is held every Sunday from 11 a.m. to noon.

Our members come from diverse ethnic, employment and economic backgrounds - reflecting the blended community that is San Antonio. There is no particular dress code, as our wish is that all who enter will feel comfortable and welcomed.

Together we are:

  • Sharing our faith, time, and talents
  • Growing in our relationship with God and with others
  • Serving others as Jesus taught us

  • Jami Nance is graduating from Law School and invites members of Resurrection Lutheran Church to her Law School Graduation Celebration Saturday, May 19, 2012.

    • 5-7PM: Party Set Up
    7-9PM: Hors d'Oeuvres and Mingling
    9PM-1AM: Put on Your Dancing Shoes! (cash bar available)

    We now have an online calendar (upper right hand corner), so submit any calendar items to any member of the council via email or in person on Sunday morning. Council Meeting's are held on the third Tuesday of each month 7-9pm. This is an open meeting and the Council would like to invite any of the LCR members to attend. Suggestions and recommendations are greatly appreciated.

    Weekly Saturday and Sunday cleaners plus the bi-weekly gardening/mowing schedules are now posted on the LCR online calendar. If you cannot make it to church on the day your team is to clean or garden or mow, please trade with a member who volunteers on a different week.

    Lutheran Church of the Resurrection has been in a process we like to call "Rebuild, Renew, Rejoice." Our focus for 2012 should be "renew" - getting every member to renew their commitment to Christ by getting involved in at least one of the church's ministries.
